How to Get High End Electronics to Test

Get FREE High End Electronics to Test!

Looking for a way to get free electronics to test? Then you have come to the right place.  I love tech products and electronics but I don’t like paying the high prices to own all the latest tech.  Fortunately, there is a way to get all the newest tech products without spending a dime!  Let me show you how.

One of the best places to get free electronics is a product testing site called Betabound.  Betabound is a product testing site that helps companies get their products into the hands of real people to test them out.  Anyone can join and it’s totally FREE.

What is BetaBound?

BetaBound (Formerly OnlineBeta) offers you a chance to participate in Beta Tests of unreleased products.   The products you will test range from household items to video games to enterprise class hardware. Members have tested products from Logitech, Dell, TomTom, Apple, T-Mobile, Polycom, Kodak, Yahoo!, and many other great companies.

What is a Beta Test?

A beta test is a project a company runs to get feedback on an unreleased product from real people. This feedback is then used to improve the product before it’s launched. It’s a chance to get the product into the hands of real people in real environments and see how they use it and what kinds of problems they run into. It’s usually one of the final tasks a company completes before launching a product.

What Do Beta Testers Do?

Again, since every product is different, every beta test is going to be different. The one constant is that beta testers are expected to use the product and give feedback on it. Using the product could mean completing specific tasks or just using it however you normally would. Feedback could take the form of surveys, forums, bug reports, or just emailing the beta team with anything that comes up.

Do I get to keep the product?

I know your wondering, do you get to keep the test products? The answer is, yes sometimes you do get to keep the item you tested. Not always though. Sometimes companies will send out a prototype product that is not fuilly complete and they will ask you to send it back. But some of the time in those cases they will send you the product as a thank you after it is completed. Some companies will send gift cards and some don’t send anything. Every beta test is different.

Tips to get picked for product testing

  • Always fill out your full profile and be honest.  Make sure to keep it updated if anything changes.
  • Make sure you complete any surveys or questionnaires asap so they know you are responsive and interested.
  •  During the application process talk about why you’re best suited to test the product.  Give them a good reason to pick you!
