Walmart Spark Reviewer: Get FREE Products in Exchange for Writing Reviews for Walmart
Have you heard about Walmart.com’s Spark Reviewer program? The program sends consumers free products to try out and then review on Walmart.com. The program is Invite only.
How Do I Become a Member?
Spark reviewers are chosen on the basis of the quality and quantity of the reviews they wrote before they were invited into the program, and most also took the time to answer other consumer’s questions at Walmart.com. So basically write good reviews on Walmart.com and you have a chance to be picked!
A Spark reviewer reports that Walmart sends a list of about 100 items each month, ranging from groceries to furniture. Spark reviewers test the products and write reviews. Reviews must be 200 words or longer, and all reviews meeting this requirement are posted, whether they are positive or negative in tone.

I was invited at 6:30 am. ( before even out of bed) to pick my free Spark products from Walmart. I read this message 2 hours later and it said there were no products to choose from and it runs from 12/6/2019 through 12/12/2019. How could 200+ items be gone in 2 hours? I have checked back countless times per day to get the same message. I guess I dont understand, it would help if they explained. How many items can you choose each month, for how long are you allowed to be a reviewer, if I cant select anything each time I log in wont I be disqualified? Help, Walmart has to explain everything, even how do you see the items, Im totally lost and clueless!
ReplyDeleteExact same thing here.bi got the invite and filled everything out and still haven't received any other emails or details or anything....and this was a couple weeks ago....ive also never seen any products in the page when I log in..I'm clueless
ReplyDeleteI have even emailed them and no one has gotten back to me. Very disapointed so far with something they make sound so great. Doesnt look good on their part especially when they depend on good reviews from the reviewers. Im so glad you commented on my post, was beginning to think I was the only one, lol.

To date nothing... I contacted Walmart and they said it is a fraud. They are reporting to the Company so they can alert the ppl about this being a fraud.

Except they don't really want "honest reviews". Try leaving honest reviews and see what happens!
ReplyDeleteI am a Walmart spark reviewer. Absolutely this program is for real. You have to act fast as there are many spark reviewers and the products are claimed very quickly. You cannot wait hours and go back and expect to find anything available.
ReplyDeleteI used to be on the Spark Reviewer program then they killed it, now I see it is back, maybe they didn't like my honest reviews don't really know but I am a Top 50 contributor, if Walmart wants the honest truth let me know at groingo@gmail.com, but only if you want factual verifyable reviews.
ReplyDeleteWalmart's Spark program seems to be very dishonest and poorly organized. I was invited to join the program on 12-5-2020 and immediately signed up with great enthusiasm. A few days after filling my application out, I started receiving emails that my profile wasn't filled out completely (even though I had filled out all the required 'starred' information). So, I went back and filled out the only item that WASN'T 'starred' as being required (my phone number). And, as of today 2-25-2020, I haven't received a single email offering me any items to pick out. I do check the site weekly hoping something will pop up. But, after 3 months, it just doesn't seem like an honest or properly run program. By the way, we're a family of 4 (2 children). Almost 3 months and nothing we would qualify for? I did write customer service asking why and received a very generic email that not every reviewer will receive opportunity on a monthly basis and that no items are actually guaranteed to be received for review. The program/program administrators suck. My ex was an Amazon Vine reviewer and that was a well run program. But, Spark? The way I've been treated with them getting my hopes up and then not being offered a single item to review, it's completely changed my views of Walmart online. I don't even want to buy from them anymore.

DeleteBeing a former Sparkee before they killed the program I found they preferred positive reviews over honest reviews and practiced Conflict of Interest by not requiring the products returned or verifyably destroyed to avoid this.
ReplyDeleteTheir review on the new Hyper Tough cordless 17 inch mower is a good case in point, all reviews but one were Walmart Spark reviewers, my review unit I purchased, unfortunately the product was brought to market before any testing, support, parts list or parts were available and it was poorly designed so will definitely need replacement parts.
I did professional product reviews and consulted as a Manufacturers Research and Development consultant for over 20 years, now they just build batches of Stuff and sell it to suckers.
